The Radiology Clinic is seeking a medical secretary who wants to be part of our team.

We offer a varied position at a clinic with both acute and planned visits.

With us, you will play an important role in the contact with patients and referrers. Medical secretaries at the Radiology Clinic work in different sections and you will have the opportunity to rotate between these based on needs and competencies. Your work will be very varied and will include appointment scheduling, phone contact with patients, and reception work. The job also includes image transfer using various techniques to and from patients, other hospitals, or remote reviewers in other countries. In this way, you are a significant link in the care chain.

Our operations are constantly evolving and new technology is being integrated into the work. The working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday.

About You

We are looking for someone who is a trained medical secretary. You are self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks with high quality. You see collaboration as a natural part of the work. You are used to and can handle rapid changes and are flexible in your approach.

Patient contact is an important part of the job and you should enjoy meeting people, both in person and over the phone. It is important for us that you understand the significance of a professional and good reception. You are the face of the clinic!

The work consists largely of digital handling, which requires your system understanding and technical ability. We expect you to contribute to improvements in the daily work at the clinic and to foster a positive atmosphere in the workgroup.

Your Future Workplace

We are a medium-sized clinic that offers opportunities for both breadth and specialization within our various professions. We have over 100 employees, of which 13 are medical secretaries, who contribute in various ways to developing and managing new knowledge within the different examinations we offer, both acute and elective.

We work in different sections with CT, plain radiography, MRI, angiography, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and mammography. Work is underway to establish PET-CT by 2026, and an expansion of MRI diagnostics is also ongoing. Together, we create a workplace with great engagement and participation, where everyone has the opportunity to influence.

The County Hospital in Kalmar is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. The hospital is an acute care hospital with specialist care, maternity care, and postnatal care. Here, over 2300 people work to provide good care and high patient safety to the county's residents.
